Kola NPP fulfills its annual plan ahead of schedule

On Dec 25 at 8:34 AM Kola NPP fulfilled its annual electricity production plan

The plant has produced 10.066bln KWh.

All the four units of the plan are in service.

They are operating at safely at a total capacity of 1423MW.

Kola NPP has also fulfilled its plan for supply of electricity to consumers.

Since its launch Kola NPP has generated over 307.120bln KWh.

The radiation situation at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.

The radiation background in the 30-km zone is within 0.06–0.10 mSvh.

The natural background in the territory of Russia is 0.04–0.20 mSvh.
