Leningrad NPP has fulfilled its electricity production plan for 2007 ahead of time

Today, on Dec 26 at 3:00 PM Moscow time Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant fulfilled its electricity production plan for 2007 – 24.210bln KWh — ahead of schedule. The plant has also fulfilled its electricity supply plan.

Presently, units 1, 2 and 4 are operating safely at a total capacity of 3060MW. Unit 3 is being repaired in the framework of the plant’s modernization and life extension program.

The radiation background in the 30-km zone monitored by the plant’s automated radiation control system makes up 0.13 mSvh.
