Employees of Mining Chemical Combine have wished Happy New Year to children and soldiers

On Dec 25 the employees of the PR Department of Mining Chemical Combine visited Sukhobuzimsky district: the villages of Bolshoy Balchug and Tolstomysovo.

They brought 50 big packs full of sweets, fruits, books and warm clothes donated by employees of the plant and residents of Zheleznogorsk for the local children. The villages of Bolshoy Balchug and Tolstomysovo are situated near MCC and the plant has always cared for the local residents, especially for children.

The authorities of the villages try not only to provide the local children with favorable conditions for education but also to make their holidays bright and unforgettable. In 2006 the PR Department of MCC launched a “Neighboring House” action: in 2007 they repaired the heating system and the windows of the house of a large family in Tolstomysovo, granted lots of interesting books and textbooks to the local library, helped poor families to buy school uniforms and accessories to their children.

And, of course, they could not leave the children without New Year gifts.

On Dec 27 representatives of the Department visited the soldiers of the two neighboring military units who guard MCC’s facilities and presented them with 1,500 gifts: food, soda water and sweets. Such actions have already become a good tradition.
