St.Nicholas Cathedral was opened at Kalinin NPP on Dec 28 2007

The cathedral was built very quickly: on Sept 3 2007 the project was blessed and now the Cathedral is ready and has opened its doors to all believers. The project was financed by the staff of Kalinin NPP and is situated in the territory of the plant, in fact, on one of the floors of its administrative building.

It was the initiative of the director of Kalinin NPP Leonid Martynovchenko to open a cathedral in the territory of the plant.

Now each employee of the plant can go and pray in the cathedral. Its doors are always open.
