Leningrad NPP is operating safely and efficiently
Dec 31 2007-Jan 14 2008 Leningrad NPP operated safely and efficiently.
In 2007 the plant fulfilled 101.8% of its electricity production plan – additional 424mln KWH to planned 24.634bln KWh. The capacity factor made up 70.3% against planned 69.09%.
Since the beginning of this year Leningrad NPP has produced 887mln KWh against planned 907mln KWh or 97.8% of the plan. The lag is due to control limitation regime during New Year holiday.
In 2008 the plant is planning to produce 29.4bln KWh – the highest index in the last years.
Presently, unit 1 is operating at a capacity of 1029MW without stop.
Unit 2 is operating at a capacity of 1025MW without stop.
Unit 3 is being modernized.
Unit 4 is operating at a capacity of 1020MW without stop.
Social and personnel policy
10 people were employed last week.
262 people were attested in 2007 against planned 253.
1,256 people underwent rehabilitation at Kopanskoye sanatorium. 301 employees were sent to other health centers. In 2007 the plant fulfilled its annual plan for rehabilitation of its employees.
Financial-economic activities
In 2007 Leningrad NPP produced 24.633bln KWh or 101.7% of the plan with 22.514bln KWh or 102.3% of the plan supplied to consumers.
The commercial output made up 16.736bln KWh or 103.7% of the plan.
In 2007 the plant generated 725,100 Gcal or 96.3% of the plan with 723,300 Gcal or 96.4% of the plan supplied to consumers.
In 2007 the average salary made up 28,422 RUR for industrial personnel (48.8% of the index of 2006), 10,716 RUR for non-industrial personnel (138.1% of the index of 2006).
In 2007 Leningrad NPP employed 6,007 people: 5,668 industrial and 339 non-industrial employees.
Results
In 2007 the nuclear power plants of Rosenergoatom Concern produced 158.3bln KWh – 102.6% of the index of 2006 and 102% of the plan of 2007. The average capacity factor was all-time high – 77.7%.
47 incidents were registered at the REA NPPs in 2007 against 42 incidents in 2006.
Today, Jan 14, 2008 the REA NPPs are operating 29 units with 47 turbine generators with a total capacity of 21.1GW against planned 21.08GW.
The key task of Leningrad NPP for Jan 14–21 2008 is intensifying the work to overhaul and modernize unit 3.
