Units 3, 4 and 5 operated at full capacity.

The radiation background at the plant was within norm.

The averaged gamma background at the plant, in Novovoronezh and at the 20 points monitored by the Automated Radiation Control System sensors installed in 13 settlements of the 30-km zone was within 7.2–11.9 mRh, which within the limits typical of the Central European part of Russia (8–25 mRh).
