Safe operation is the key priority of Kalinin NPP

For many years already Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant has been ecologically friendly and safe enterprise. Its performance in 2007 has confirmed this once again:

— gamma background in the buffer and monitoring zones was within norm;

— daily emission of gases and aerosols were also within norm.

In 2007 Kalinin NPP complied with all personnel safety requirements. The collective dose made up 1.68 person-Sv with the norm being 1.9 person-Sv.
