Leningrad NPP in Dec 2007
In 2007 Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant generated 24.633bln KWh and supplied consumers with 22.515bln KWh (against 23.178bln KWh and 21.198bln KWh in 2006).
In Dec 2007 the plant produced 2.289bln KWh (against 2.203bln KWh in Dec 2006). 2.109bln KWh was supplied to consumers (against 2.023bln KWh in Dec 2006).
In Dec 2007 the capacity factor made up 76.9% against 74% a year before.
In Dec 2007 unit 1 generated 763.7mln KWh. The unit operated at an average capacity of 1026MW. The capacity factor made up 102.6%.
Unit 2 generated 758.5mln KWh, with an average capacity of 1019MW and capacity factor of 101.9%.
Unit 3 has been modernized since July 20 2007.
Unit 4 produced 767.1mln KWh. The average capacity made up 1031MW, the capacity factor – 103.1%.
In Dec 2007 the boiler of Leningrad NPP supplied Sosnovy Bor and its manufacturing companies with 247,316 c m of hot water and 91,812 Gcal of heat.
The hydraulic department supplied Sosnovy Bor and its manufacturing companies with 907,598 c m of drinking water: the population received 437,500 c m, the industry – 43,326 c m.
1053 people within 60 delegations visited the plant in 2007.
In Dec 2007 the radiation background at Leningrad NPP and in the nearby area was within norm.
