Leningrad NPP in 2007

As of Jan 2008 since its launch Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant had generated a total of 736.892bln KWh.

In 2007 the plant produced 24.633bln KWh and supplied consumers with 22.515bln KWh (against 23.178bln KWh and 21.198bln KWh in 2006).

The capacity factor made up 70.3% against 66.2% in 2006.

Unit 1 produced 8.171bln KWh. The average capacity factor made up 93.3%.

Unit 2 produced 6.999bln KWh. The capacity factor made up 79.9%.

Uni 3 generated 4.151bln KWh. The average capacity factor made up 47.4%.

Unit 4 produced 5.311bln KWh. The capacity factor made up 60.6%.

In 2007 the boiler of Leningrad NPP supplied Sosnovy Bor and its manufacturing companies with 2,737,350 c m of hot water and 723,322 Gcal of heat.

The hydraulic department supplied Sosnovy Bor and its manufacturing companies with 10,976,036 c m of drinking water: the population received 5,785,978 c m, the industry – 461,322 c m.

1053 people within 60 delegations visited the plant in 2007.

In Dec 2007 the radiation background at Leningrad NPP and in the nearby area was within norm.
