Since the beginning of this year units 1, 2 and 4 of Leningrad NPP have produced 1.700bln KWh

Since its launch, in Dec 1973, Leningrad NPP has generated a total of 738.592bln KWh.

Presently, units 1, 2 and 4 are operating at a total capacity of 3060MW.

Unit 3 has been under repair since July 2007. The repair is near completion.

The radiation situation in Leningrad NPP, Sosnovy Bor and its suburbs is within norm, which proves that the plant is safe.

The radiation background at Leningrad NPP is 0.13 mSvh, in Sosnovy Bor and the area monitored by the plant’s automated radiation control system – 0.07 mSvh, which is within norm.
