Jan 15–24 experts of Russian Register-Baltic Inspection Ltd carried out certification inspection of the quality management system of Rosatomstroy ICC

Jan 15–24 2008 a group of experts of Russian Register-Baltic Inspection Ltd carried out a certification inspection of the quality management system of Rosatomstroy Investment Construction Concern.

The inspection covered almost 70% of the company’s departments, particularly, the central office, the Tomsk branch, VNIPIET (All-Russian Research Institute of Complex Energy Technology) and NIKIMT (Research and Development Institute of Installation Technology).

The inspection has shown that the quality management system of Rosatomstroy is efficient, is being constantly improved and complies with the requirements if ISO 9001:2000 and GOST R ISO 9001–2001 (national standard) and that the company’s quality management certificates can be prolonged as meeting the standards of GOST R, Russian register and IQNet.

The federal law on technical regulation says that quality management certification is factor confirming the compliance of a product with technical regulations. Quality management certification has many other advantages, but its key point is that it helps to effectively manage companies and to ensure its high competitiveness on Russian and international markets.

The availability of quality management certificate is the key requirement of Rosatomstroy’s investors. Besides, ISO 9000 certification is obligatory condition of many structures selecting companies for cooperation on a competitive basis. Rosatomstroy’s quality management certificate will help it to effectively continue the work.
