Feb 19 midnight unit 4 of Novovoronezh NPP was stopped for four-day repair on the plant’s request

As was reported earlier, Feb 19 midnight unit 4 of Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant was stopped for four-day repair on the plant’s request.

The electric drive of the protection control system will be replaced during the period.

Units 3 and 5 of Novovoronezh NPP are operating at full capacity.

The radiation situation at Novovoronezh NPP is within norm.

The radiation background in the area monitored by the plant’s automated radiation control system is within norm.
