Health care service for veterans

21.02.2008 // Information-Analytical Center of Kursk NPP

Health care service has been organized at Kursk NPP for the plant’s veterans

The service consists of one doctor and two nurses. The service has been provided with a comfortable office.

Our mission is to provide support to unemployed pensioners who are members of the plant’s Council of Veterans and have no relatives in Kurchatov as well as to disabled people and veterans of the Great Patriotic War who are too sick for visiting health canters on their own.

We do not provide treatment. Our task is to help to buy prescribed medicines, to make a injection, to measure blood pressure and blood glucose, to help to buy relevant equipment.

We closely cooperate with the doctors of the medical unit 125. If necessary, we may call a doctor from the unit or ask him to visit a pensioner additionally if he feels worse.

In the last 1.5 months we have helped 385 pensioners and have visited 80 veterans. 13 of them have been placed under our patronage and we visit them no less than twice a week.

We are always ready to help you.

O.Krupnitsky,
Doctor of Health Care Service of Veterans of Kursk NPP
