NIIIS is organizing a press tour «Social Initiative of Nuclear Workers»

The press tour is to take place on Mar 19. During the tour NIIIS (Research Institute of Measuring Systems) will present its social programs and the town building project «The Southern Gates of the City.»

The project is aimed at creating modern social infrastructure in Prioksky district of Nizhniy Novgorod.

During the press tour the participant journalists will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Innovations and the Ministry of Construction of Nizhniy Novgorod region, the administration of Prioksky district, the Nizhniy Novgorod Diocese and NIIIS.

They will visit the complex of apartment houses built by NIIIS and the spiritual complex situated in the territory of the institute: the kiot with icons of Seraphim of Sarov and Panteleimon and the construction site of Ioann of Kronshtadt Cathedral.

To remind, with a view to familiarize residents of Nizhniy Novgorod region with local companies and organizations the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy has organized a series of press-tours.

The first press tour took place in Sept 2007: the topic of the meeting was many-year fruitful cooperation between Nizhniy Novgorod State Technical University and OKBM.

The second press-tour of Sarov took place in Dec 2007. The journalists visited the Russian Federal Nuclear Center-the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics (RFNC-VNIIEF) and Sarov Technopark.
