Atomstroyexport is potential bidder for general contract to build two NPPs in Finland

This autumn the Parliament of Finland is planning to start discussion of three new NPP construction projects in that country, the vice president of Atomstroyexport CJSC Tirum Ivanov said during a conference on investment project management.

He said that Atomstroyexport was a potential bidder for two of the projects and was already consulting relevant companies – Fortum and Feno Voima (34% belong to German E.ON).

Feno Voima has four potential sites and Atomstroyexport is consulting that company on one of them.

Ivanov said that the companies seeking the contracts had to submit their applications to the Finnish Parliament by the autumn 2008, with the relevant tenders, to be expectedly announced in 2010–2011.
