The chief engineer of the Department for Construction of Rostov NPP Vladimir Belov made a report in Volgodonsk Duma

During one of the last meetings of the Duma of Volgodonsk, the chief engineer of the Department for the Construction of Rostov Nuclear Power Plant Vladimir Belov made a report on the use of municipal funds in 30-km zone in 2007. The deputy head of the Volgodonsk Administration for town-building and architecture N.Plygunov was the co-rapporteur.

31 facilities were built in Volgodonsk in 2007: diagnostic department of the municipal hospital with necessary equipment, the service center of the dental clinic, a bridge crossing, 11 gas pipelines, street illumination networks, 2 motor roads, passages with a total area of 34,000 sq m, sewage pipes. A total of 233.726bln RUR was spent on the above projects.

The construction will be continued this year. Not only Volgodonsk but also the villages of the 30-km zone are expecting to receive bigger financing this year. Over 63mln RUR has been spent on roads, water intake facilities and gas pipelines in Tsimlyansk, Volgodonsk, Dubrovsk and Zimovnikovsk districts in since 2005. 

What is planned for 2008

The following projects are to be completed this year: high-pressure gas pipeline (50% ready); exterior lighting of the future trolleybus line (65%); contact network (10%); tracking substation (70%); the restoration of the water pipeline in Solonovskaya is almost finished; the construction of outdoor water and sewage pipelines in Medgorodok is underway; the estimates for 16 projects are ready; among the other projects planned for this year are the construction of school #316, an apartment house, a sports and recreation complex in Molodyozhny Park, a gym in Krasny Yer and Christmas Cathedral.
