Leningrad NPP: Mar 17–24 2008
Production
On Mar 17–24 2008 Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant operated safely and efficiently with no single incident registered.
Since the beginning of this year the plant has generated 6.025bln KWh or 102.1% of the plant (125mln KWh more than planned).
In Mar the plant has produced 39mln KWh more than planned.
Unit 1 is operating at a capacity of 1,028MW.
Unit 2 is operating at a capacity of 1,020MW. On Mar 23 at 2:00 AM the capacity of the unit was reduced to 810MW because its condenser was stopped for repair. The same day at 8:00 PM the capacity of the unit was restored.
Unit 3 is being modernized.
Unit 4 is operating at a capacity of 1,000–1,005MW.
Social and personnel training policy
180 employees were trained during the last week.
9 people were employed with 10 undergoing employment procedure.
Cultural events
Leningrad NPP hosted the 5th futsal tournament among Rosenergoatom veterans. The team of Kursk NPP was proclaimed the winner.
Last week team of Leningrad NPP took part in the international winter sports contest “Polar Nucleus 2008” in Poliarnye Zori (Murmansk region).
Financial activities
The Financial-Economic Department of Leningrad NPP sent a report on its productive supply of electric and thermal energy in Feb 2008 to the Tariff and Price Policy Committee of the Government of Leningrad region and the Russian Statistical Agency. In Feb 2008 the plant’s commercial output made up 1.683bln RUR. The productive supply of thermal energy made up 90,000 Gcal or 14.3bln RUR.
