Novovoronezh NPP: Mar 16–22 2008

Last week – Mar 16–22 2008 – units 3 and 4 of Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant operated at 302MW and 403MW, respectively. On Mar 23 the capacity of unit 3 was reduced by 150MW. Now the unit is operating at 1,000MW.

In Mar Novovoronezh NPP has generated 935.0mln KWh, since the beginning of this year 3.440bln KWh.

The radiation situation at Novovoronezh NPP is within norm.

The averaged gamma background at Novovoronezh NPP, in Novovoronezh and at the 20 points monitored by the Automated Radiation Control System sensors installed in 13 settlements of the 30-km zone was within norm (8–25 mRh).
