On Mar 28 Kalinin NPP fulfilled its electricity production plan for Jan-Mar 2008

It made up 120.163% due to safe, stable and efficient work of all the plant’s units.

Presently, three units of Kalinin NPP are operating at a total capacity of 3,110MW. The capacity factor is 100.4%. No INES incidents were registered at Kalinin NPP in Jan-Mar 2008.

The radiation background at Kalinin NPP is within 6–12 MRh.

Kalinin NPP has three WWER reactors (pressurized water reactors) each having a capacity of 1,000MW. Unit 4 is under construction and is to be launched in 2011.
