In Mar Smolensk NPP produced 1.652bln KWh

Three units are in service at Smolensk NPP. The 4th turbine generator of the 2nd unit is being repaired. The units are operating safely at a total capacity of 2,560MW.

In Mar 2008 Smolensk NPP generated 1.652bln KWh, since the beginning of this year – 5.290bln KWh.

The radiation background at Smolensk NPP and in the nearby area is within norm.
