The eighth season of the construction of the Savior Cathedral in Novovoronezh has been opened with a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the project

The Board comprises the managers of local companies and is chaired by the director of Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant V.Vikin.

The trustees summed up the results of the work in 2007. Quite big work was done last year under the project due to 5mln RUR provided by Novovoronezh NPP. The constructors built the heating, water supply, sewerage and electricity supply systems, completed the vertical planning of the area, carried out the whole planned plastering, painting and molding work. Over 6mln RUR was spent on the project last year.

The key task for 2008 is to make the upper Cathedral ready by the Dedication Day, Aug 29 2008.

By that time the constructors have to finish the decoration of the façade and the central hall. All this requires substantial expenses.

The chairman of the Board of Trustee, the director of Novovoronezh NPP V.Vikin and the primate of the Savior Cathedral, Nikolay signed an urge to the managers of local companies, businessmen and residents of Novovoronezh to sponsor the project. Novovoronezh NPP is ready to provide 2.225mln RUR.
