The investigation of the incident that took place at Mayak PA on Mar 27 2008 is over

On that day the personnel of plant #235 were doing welding on auxiliary equipment when the air sensor warned them about danger.

The repair was stopped and the people left the premises.

The preliminary medical examination detected no radio-nuclides in the lungs of the workers. Nevertheless, they were sent to the bio-physical laboratory of the South-Ural Bio-Physics Institute. The bio-physical examination did not find any excess in the effective exposure dose. The incident had no negative effect on the health of the workers.
