Winners of festival of children’s art awarded at Kola NPP

The winners of the festival of children’s art “Rainbow of Talents 2008” were awarded at Kola NPP on Apr 15–16 2008

The festival was dedicated to the 35th birthday of the 1st unit of Kola NPP. Almost 200 children from Poliarnye Zori were granted certificates and presents.

Almost 1,000 children – each fourth child of Poliarnye Zori – took part in the festival. For three weeks all schools of the city were participating in vocal, recital, choreography, theatrical performance, arts and crafts. The best works have been exhibited at the Culture Palace of Sosnovy Bor and will be presented at the gala concert on Apr 19.  

The deputy director of Kola NPP Igor Kutuzov said: “Never before have we never conducted children’s events of such a scale. We are glad that our children are so active and creative. More and more children from Poliarnye Zori are winning local, national and even international contests. This means that our efforts to foster children’s art are not in vain. In 2003 Kola NPP organized over 20 contests for children and teens. We are happy that our children like our contests and participate in them with pleasure.”
