Atomstroyexport has taken part in “Russia Power 2008” conference

On Apr 16 2008 Atomstroyexport CJSC conducted a technical session “Equipment for Nuclear Power Industry” in the framework of the “Russia Power 2008” conference at ExpoCenter, Moscow.

The session was chaired by the deputy director of the Marketing and Business Development Department of Atomstroyexport CJSC Vitaly Yermolayev.

The experience of Atomstroyexport, as one of the leading EPCM companies, proves that the quality of equipment is crucial for NPP construction projects.

The participants in the session discussed problems concerning the design of steam turbines and condensers for steam turbines. Representatives of Alstom Atomenergomash and Power Machines made reports on the relevant projects of their companies. A representative of Ansaldo Nucleare SpA (Italy) pointed out the importance of studying the problem of extension of the lives of nuclear reactors.

In his report Yermolayev told the audience about ASE’s NPP construction contracts and the development prospects of Russian nuclear technologies. He presented general review of the development of nuclear power engineering in Russia and abroad.

Atomstroyexport is going to further discuss the problem of quality of equipment for nuclear power plants and responsibility of sub-contractors of NPP construction projects.
