Technopromexport: results of 2007

Technopromexport has summed up the results of its work in 2007

In 2007 the net profit of the company made up 727,146,000 RUR, the sales revenue – 16,460,233,000 RUR. In 2006 the net profit was 553,966,000 RUR, the sales revenue – 10,469,624,000 RUR.  Presently, the company has contracts worth a total of $3.370bln.

Among the biggest projects of Technopromexport in 2007 were the launch of the 3rd and 4th units of Mezhdunarodnaya Thermal Power Plant in Moscow; the launch of the 1st unit of Ivanovo Combined Cycle Plant; the launch of 10 mobile gas fueled plants in Moscow region; the rehabilitation and restart of Ghorosal Thermal Power Plant in Bangladesh and Kostolac Thermal Power Plant in Serbia. Thus, the company launched five power plants.

Due to the launch of Mezhdunarodnaya TPP in 2007, Technopromexport has become an independent electricity producer. This “Build Own Operate” project has significantly enhanced the stability and the competitiveness of the company and has enlarged its fixed assets.

In 2007 Technopromexport completed the construction of one of the biggest hydroelectric facilities in Africa, Kapanda Water Power Plant in Angola.

In 2007 Technopromexport signed a number of big contracts, particularly, Yuzhnaya TPP-22 in St.Petersburg (12bln RUR), Scherbinka Gas Turbine Electric Power Plant (10bln RUR) and Sisak TPP-3 in Serbia.

Presently, Technopromexport is taking part in tenders under the investment program of RAO UES and is completing the construction of a flood defense system in St.Petersburg. 

Technopromexport was established in 1955. It builds power facilities: hydroelectric, thermal, geo-thermal plants and power transmission lines. The total capacity of the power facilities built by the company so far in 50 countries exceeds 86mln KW – almost 50% of the capacity of all power plants in Russia.
