Labor protection seminar at Kursk NPP

On Apr 24 Information-Analytical Center of Kursk NPP will conduct a labor protection seminar for managers and specialists of the plant’s departments and contractor organizations

Representatives of the administration of Kursk region, the federal supervisory authorities and the companies supplying Kursk NPP with modern individual protection means will also attend the seminar. The seminar is dedicated to the World Day for Safety and Health at Work held by the International Labor Organization every year on Apr 28. 

The participants in the seminar will sum up the results of Kursk NPP’s labor protection activities in 2007, will make reports on the most typical violations of the requirements of the work permit procedure and will familiarize themselves with the presentations by representatives of companies producing individual protection means.

The seminar will be followed by a “roundtable” – discussion of the results of the seminar.

28 April is the International Labor Organization’s (ILO) World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This day is held every year with the aim to focus attention on promoting and creating a safe and healthy culture at work.
