Atomstroyexport takes part in awarding of winners of PRESSZvania contest

Atomstroyexport has taken part in the ceremony of awardingof the winners of PRESSZvania contest

The awarding ceremony took place in the Big Hall of RIA Novosti on Apr 22 2008.

PRESSZvanie international business journalism contest is conducted each year with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia, the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Russia and the Association of Managers of Russia.

Atomstroyexport sponsored “Nuclear Power Industry” nomination while the head of the company’s press service Irina Yesipova was in the jury.

From 2,000 to 5,000 articles were examined in each of 11 nominations. Over 2,500 federal and regional mass media submitted their works to the contest. Preference was given to articles reflecting the key tendencies in the development of the nuclear power industry. The key criterion was competence. The best materials were examined to a council of experts.

Yelena Kornysheva was proclaimed the winner in the “Nuclear Power Industry” nomination for her articles for Kommersant newspaper and Expert magazine. The press secretary of Rosatom Sergey Novikov and the press secretary of Atomstroyexport Irina Yesipova granted her a certificate and an original present: a piece of a concrete with the print of her hand. 

Atomstroyexport’s support reflects its wish to help the journalists covering developments in the nuclear power sector and proves that the business press has a big role in the life and activities of the nuclear community.
