Representative of Novovoronezh NPP has taken part in conference of plenipotentiaries of youth organizations of Rosenergoatom Concern

A conference of the plenipotentiaries of the youth organizations of Rosenergoatom Concern took place in Zarechny on Apr 16–18 2008

The advisor of the director general of Rosenergoatom Concern for youth, culture and sports O.Zheltov and the advisor of the deputy director of the Concern, the president of the International Association of Young Nuclear Workers Y.Churkin took part in the meeting. The youth organization of Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant was represented by the chairman of that organization S.Churikov.

The conferees discussed provisions on the information and scientific-technical councils of the Rosenergoatom youth organizations, elected the members and the chairmen of the councils and discussed their further activities.

The mission of the information council of the Rosenergoatom youth organizations is to coordinate the efforts of the youth organizations of the REA NPPs and to enhance the prestige of the nuclear power industry in the eyes of the youth.

The scientific-technical council is supposed to carry out youth policy in the fields of research and engineering, i.e. to create favorable industrial, social-economic and psychological conditions for young specialists and to foster their professional development and self-realization.

The conferees visited the construction site of BN-800 fast-breeder reactor of Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant.
