Employees of Kalinin NPP meets with schoolchildren

On Apr 25 a group of employees of Kalinin NPP met with pupils and teachers of high and vocational schools of Udomlia

The topic of the meeting was the most required professions in the nuclear power industry. This problem is getting increasingly urgent now that our country has started active construction of nuclear power plants.

Representatives of the electric, thermal automatics and measurements, centralized maintenance and personnel departments of Kalinin NPP and the management of Vocational School #1 answered the children’s questions about the existing and most required professions and the additional social guarantees provided by Kalinin NPP to graduates of colleges and universities.

A member of the Youth Organization of Kalinin NPP invited the children to come into the nuclear industry: “Nuclear power plant is a company that provides its employees with stable and reliable future.” The demand for good specialists is growing but requirements remain very high: nuclear workers must be highly qualified and responsible and eager to learn.
