The head of Federal Agency for nuclear energy, Sergey Kirienko, signed a decree on the forum of innovational projects of Rosatom on 27–28 June 2006.

The main aim of the innovational forum is to stimulate the wide use of scientific research of different organizations of nuclear industry in industries, which do not relate to nuclear energy and nuclear fuel cycle.

During the event different schemes of investors and developers of innovational projects will be under the discussion. Besides, the questions on the development of innovational activity, helping the inventors and producers of high technology and innovations for Russian and international markets in promotion of perspective technologies, creation of favorable conditions for attracting non-budget investments for the projects, attracting attention of potential consumers of high-technology products and competitive projects of nuclear industry. Special attention is to be paid for the questions of intellectual property, development of licence activity, management of commercial turnover of the objects of intellectual property, including those which are the property of Russian Federation. The results of the Forum will also be used in the defining of the opportunities of effective usage of intellect resources including scientific, industrial, human resources of organizations and enterprises of nuclear industry.

The organizations and enterprises of Federal Agency for nuclear energy, which have provided to the attention of experts their projects on the implementation of innovations in external for nuclear industry spheres, will also take part in the Forum. Besides, the industrial and business structures and investors interested in the implementation of high technology innovations of Rosatom in the wide specter: nuclear and traditional energy industry, communal sphere, electrical technology, security and safety of industrial facilities, informational technologies, control and metering devices, ecological technologies, medical equipment, food industry and other, will take part in the event.

The innovational Forum of Rosatom represents the one of the steps within the program of innovational activity for nuclear industry.
