The branch Forum of innovations received the projects for venture investments based on high nuclear technologies

By the moment the organizational committee of innovational Forum of Rosatom has received two and a half hundred of projects from more than fifty branch and cooperative enterprises and organizations.

The participants of the Forum introduced science-intensive business products in key trends of Russian economy development.

Scientific institutes, constructional agencies, factories and integrated plants, stock companies and holdings send their applications for the participation in Forum according to research and advanced development in:

• small and alternative energy industry, including hydrogen technologies;
• automated systems of technological control over technological processes of fuel and energy complex;
• microelectronics;
• detectors;
• special materials for operation in hostile environment;
• nanotechnologies;
• systems of detection, security and control;
• medical products and services in the sphere of oncology, cardiology and anesthesia;
• assembling of different material purification including water desalination equipment;
• equipment of the system for communal infrastructure;
• ecological complexes for utilization and disinfection of different industrial and domestic wastes;
• products and technologies for machinery building, metallurgy and transport.

Formed on the basis of research and advanced development commercial projects are discussed with the experts of the Forum for the opportunity of future venture financing. Dozens of the best projects will be chosen according to criteria of social importance, economical efficiency, scientific novelty and possibility of transfer to other branches of industry. The most profitable and important projects are regarded to become an object for venture investments.

Before the end of the branch innovational Forum of Rosatom on 27–28 June 2006 project groups will have the opportunity to attend coaching events on the development of the commercial efficiency of the results of scientific and technical activity in organizations of nuclear energy complex. One of these events was held at FSUE “CNIIATOMINFORM” on 17 april 2006. It was devoted to the questions of optimization of project presentation and improvement of communication with potential investors.

The innovational Forum is to become an effective mechanism for attracting the interest of venture and direct investors into realization of high technology projects for enterprises of nuclear industry. The program of branch development considers an increase of civilian products (besides electrical energy produced at NPP) for Russian and international markets.
