Rosenergoatom Concern, the biggest power generating company of Russia, is pleased to announce a photo contest “Nuclear Renaissance in Pictures” among employees of the nuclear power sector, amateur and professional photographers.

Presently, we are experiencing an increasing lack of positive images of the nuclear power sector in the press. Most of the pictures do not reflect the reality. That’s why the key objective of the contest is to shape a new vision of the sector in the context of the global nuclear renaissance. Besides, the contest is a good opportunity for nuclear power sector employees to display their creativity.

We will accept only pictures taken during the period from Jan 2006 till Apr 2007.

The topics are nuclear facilities; types of industrial buildings; production process; corporate events; holidays; conferences; visits of delegations; people working in the sphere.

The major criteria are relevance, quality, originality and informativity.

The winners will get diplomas, awards and gifts. Their pictures will be displayed at Rosenergoatom’s exhibition hall.
