Beginning in 2002, Green Mountain was the first retail electric provider in the state to offer Renewable energy, and is now the longest serving green power provider in the U.S. The company has delivered over ten billion kilowatt hours of clean Energy to Texas customers, and encouraged development of 32 new solar energy facilities.
